Introducing Scarlet 50 & 51
When it comes to having the competitive edge, the Cessna 150 is unbeatable.
We have two.
Thank you to our Alumni, Friends, and Contributors
for keeping Scarlet 50 & 51 Flying
Our alumni are top-notch. In 1998, alumni and friends of the OSU Flight Team came together and purchased a 1974 Cessna 150 to be donated to the Flight Team. It was then painted in Scarlet and Gray and has since become a flagship of the team, program, and University. Then again in 2016, alumni and friends decided the team needed a second aircraft. A 1973 Cessna 150 was purchased and brought to Ohio State as a sister-ship.
The Cessna 150's are used in Power-On Precision Landings, Power-Off Precision Landings, Navigation, and Message Drop.
